Be prepared to change strategies on how to kill the zombies, because the orb will move around the map, forcing players to follow it. As players kill a certain number of zombies, the Dark Aether orb will gradually gain more power, making the zombies much harder to counter. Players have one simple goal, which is to survive.Įach game of Onslaught begins in a confined space as players discover a Dark Aether Orb, a special device that protects players from getting damaged by Dark Aether energy.
The survival mode will take place on undead versions of the Multiplayer maps with an endless number of Zombies. This is pretty similar to Modern Warfare 3’s survival mode, but with Zombies.
Zombies Onslaught is a two-player co-op game mode with custom loadouts. Unfortunately, PC and Xbox players have to wait until November 2021 to be able to play the Zombies Onslaught game mode. PlayStation players are going to receive a new timed exclusive Zombies game mode called Zombies Onslaught, which is not related to the main Zombies storyline.
